Many students ask the question, “How far should I go on a date?”
Here are some principles that will help you decide what is appropriate behavior on a date.

   1. Does the situation I put myself in invite segxwal immorality or help me avoid it?
1 Corinthians 6:18 says to "flee from segxwal immorality." We cannot do this if we are tempting ourselves through carelessness.
   2. What kind of reputation does my potential date have?
When you accept a date you are essentially saying, "My values are the same as your values." That in itself can put you in a position you may regret later. Remember 1 Corinthians 15:33, "Bad company corrupts good character."
@poster in other words, no more dates i guess.
But how can u get married when u don't know the in and out of ur partner?
The Scripture says "flee from segxwal immorality" and not from dates, it all depends on ur point of view.
Date in the most common sense is two people trying out a relationship and exploring whether they're compatible by going out together in public as a couple, and who may or may not yet be having segxwal relations, and this period of courtship is sometimes seen as a precursor to engagement or marriage.
How can u know ur she or he - if u don't engage in dates? @ poster...
Accepting a date doesn't really corrupt good manners, it's only when ur partner is corrupt and nobody is perfect!
but we'll have to be careful in our dealings.
