MY BROTHER, HOW IS THE WOMAN STUBBORN. SOMEBODY THAT WENT TO WORK SINCE MORNING AND CAME BACK TIRED IN THE EVENING AND HE DON'T WANT TO LET HER IN BECAUSE OF 4,000.00 NAIRA. HE BETTER PRAY FOR THE WOMAN TO SURVIVE AND NOW HE GONNA SPEND MORE THAN 4,000.00 NAIRA AND HE ALREADY SPENT 50,000.00 FOR HIS BAIL.

She was definitely stubborn.  She has been going to work for the past two months, being paid and never bothered to bring one naira to the landlord.  When the landlord asked her not to enter, she should leave.  This is not her home.  She is delinquent in rent for over two months.  It does not matter the amount of money that she owed whether you think it is much or not.  They need to learn how to honor agreements between themselves and the landlord.

The landlord is wrong for stabbing her, but the woman was wrong for not paying rent and not heeding the landlords warning not to enter his house.

She could have gone and called police that she needed to enter her home, etc., and let the police handle this problem instead.  She could have left, gone to the courts and reported the matter.  Once she owed rent for over two months, she no longer has rights and authorities over the landlords premises.  She was trespassing.

It is the duty of parents to live inheritance for their children.  I do not wish for him to become landlord.  If tenants do not pay him rent, he stands to lose his home and become tenant one day.  That should never be a wish upon anybody.

Everybody needs to pay their rent on time and end of story.

Yes, thank God she is alive, but she should watch her steps in the future as well.  Honor agreements with the landlord and if you do not, and the landlord ask you to live, obey the landlord.  It is his place.

The landlord should pursue more legal ways in the future to collect delinquent rents.

You de crazy.. see your face like the landlord own, na because of 4000 naira na him go make the landlord won kill person or if too say she die for this matter even if she stubborn won enter her own house, does it mean that the landlord should raise something to blow off the woman life like that, make we dey reason because all hands are not equal.

The house is not hers.  She is delinquent in rent for over two months.  The landlord had every right to ask her not to enter his home any longer.

The landlord was wrong in the way he handled this matter.  It does not matter if it was 4000 naira or 500000 naira.  Tenants need to start honoring agreements, and start understanding that they are renters and that the home they rent does not belong to them.  They defaulted in paying rent.  The husband started hiding from the landlord.

The landlord should have gone to the police to get a proper eviction for the tenants, that was his mistake.

Na your senior brother dey craze. Can't you people express your feelings without being abusive, uncultured and unrespectful? You need some tutorials in human nrelationships
Fair comment.  There was no need for abuse.  People have the right to free speech.  We can all agree to disagree without being abusive to one another.

Thank God that she is alive. The landlord acted in ignorance, not knowing that life is still stages. Soonest, the Lord Almighty will provide for that family their own home in Lagos state. This shows they are getting there.

Pay your rent and pay it on time.  Landlords learn how to remove your delinquent tenants in a legal way.
End of story.

The landlord will not fall.  He was wrong to stab.  The tenant should pay their rent and stop playing games.

Deliquent landlord like this should be committed to mental home for life. All over the world tenants do fall behind with their rent from time to time without the landlords killing such tenants. There are laws and grounds for lawful eviction. The Rent tribunal deals with such matters.  Instead, some ape is taking it upon himself to butcher a defenceless woman.
