Peter Obi Commends FG’s Decision To Implement Oronsaye Report

Politician, Peter Obi, says being in opposition does not warrant blind and thoughtless criticisms.
He stated this on his X handle this morning while aligning with the Federal government's decision to implement the Oronsaye report.
President Tinubu on Monday, February 26, ordered the full report of the implementation which has seen the scrapping, merging and submission of some agencies. Read here.
In the statement released on his X handle, Obi stated that during the 2023 campaign, he had mentioned that if elected he will implement the report as well. He also advised the Federal government to go a step further by cutting the cost of governance.

Sadly though, you guys are talking about implementing a report that is over a decade old...report of 2011...have you guys evaluated the economic implications of this report based on the present economic realities?? You think you can just take a 13yr old report, dust it and say you want to implement it??
