Renowned Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic has shed light on the reasons behind her decision to wait before tying the knot, revealing that societal pressures did not dictate her timeline.
Dominic, 48, exchanged vows with her partner, Fidelis Anosike, in April 2022, marking a significant moment in her personal life.

"When questioned about the delay in my marriage, I wanted to ensure that my decision was based on genuine feelings, not societal pressures," Dominic explained. "Despite years of external pressure, I chose to remain true to myself and wait until the timing felt right."
Reflecting on the journey, Dominic emphasized her belief in marrying the right person at the right time, asserting her autonomy in making such life-altering decisions. "I encountered several individuals along the way, but sometimes things simply don't align," Dominic remarked. "I firmly believe in the organic progression of relationships and refuse to force connections that aren't meant to be."
