With reference to the post I made on (January 09, 2011 see link: //www.gistmania.com/talk/topic,55906.0.html) in which I sought to raise $1,000 For The 10-Year-Old Nigerian Cobbler Hameed Mojeed.
Just to give you a follow up on this issue, after posting the topic I was able to raise about $135 (~N20,000) and I can assure you that the money has been securely delivered to hameed in his school Methodist Primary School, Adatan in Abeokuta his primary school headmistress was available when the money was given to the boy and the money was kept in the school custody for onward transfer to the boy's guardian.
Below, I have attached Hameed's picture with his headmistress & a teacher when the donation was made.
Finally, if you decide to make any contribution to the boy's future you can contact the headmistress of the school directly, Methodist Primary School, Adatan in Abeokuta.

I know it was a small effort, but it was from pure from our hearts and was alot better than just sympathizing with no actions.
If everyone can act this way, perhaps we could have a better Nigeria in near future.
