Tragedy has struck the Sarkin Pawa community of Shiroro Local Government Area, Niger State, as bandits brutally murdered Reverend Joshua Musa, a pastor of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), even after receiving ransom.
The incident unfolded when Rev. Joshua Musa, hailing from Nasarawa State, was abducted alongside his wife and others on Monday morning, May 20, 2024. Though details of the abduction remain scarce, it has been confirmed that the bandits released the victims following the payment of a ransom.
However, in a cruel twist of fate, as the victims were being released from the bush, the abductors callously ended the life of Rev. Musa.
The tragic incident has sent shockwaves through the community, leaving residents in mourning and raising concerns about the escalating insecurity in the region.
