A driver identified as Evans Abifade has k!lled a 27-year-old travel consultant, Oluwatobiloba Bukola Fisayomi Arike, in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State;

It was gathered that the deceased was on her way to buy food near Agro Bus Stop, via Ojodu-Berger, in Akute on Wednesday afternoon, June 3, 2024, when the speeding car struck her, k!lling her on the spot.

The driver was apprehended by an angry crowd and handed over to the police while the young woman’s lifeless body was wrapped in a polythene bag by officers from the Ajuwon Police Station and transported to the mortuary.

Meanwhile, family and friends have called on the Ogun State Police Command and Governor Dapo Abiodun to investigate the gruesome killing of the National Open University graduate.

The family fears that justice may not be served as the police might release the reckless driver without proper prosecution.

A friend of the deceased wrote in a Facebook post on Thursday, July 4: “The police refused to take a statement from us but granted the driver who killed you his wish of going to hospital for treatment. More than 24 hours now and no statement about your gruesome death. Nigeria Police is the failure that keeps failing.”

I can't even imagine how much her family and friends are hurt. I'm dealing with a loss in my own family, and it really hits home how fragile life is and how important it is to remember and honor the people we’ve lost.
During times like this, finding a peaceful place to lay someone to rest, like Montecito Memorial Park, can bring a little comfort. It’s a way to make sure their memory is kept alive in a respectful and lasting way, even when things feel so unfair.

It's sad when life ends so abruptly. Besides, I knew one travel agent personally, and she was pretty helpful in booking some tours for affordable prices. I've visited so many countries with her recommendations. But she also passed away.

It's really sad to hear about such a sudden and tragic loss. I can’t imagine what the family and friends are going through, especially with the uncertainty around justice.
If you’re planning to travel, finding good deals can really help. I came across some useful options for trips to India here: https://travelbusinessclass.com/best-deals/region/indian-subc . It’s always nice to have a reliable place to check when you’re planning a trip.
