Social activist and comedian Debo Adebayo, also known as Mr. Macaroni, has criticized individuals he believes have forsaken their humanity.

He stated that no amount of wealth, power, or influence should be worth sacrificing the freedom of the people.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, Mr. Macaroni condemned those who promote violence, hatred, and bigotry in exchange for personal gain.

Mr Macaeoni stated, “No amount of money, position, or connection should be sufficient to compromise the freedom of your people. Some have lost their humanity by supporting violence and bigotry just for a few benefits. Their ignorance and selfishness prevent them from seeing that if we stand united, the entire table is ours.”

Recall that some Nigerians are preparing for a nationwide protest scheduled from August 1 to August 10, 2024.

The protest organizers have voiced concerns about severe hunger and the increasing cost of living in the country.
