Kashim Shettima, Nigeria's Vice President, has returned to the nation’s capital following his representation of President Bola Tinubu at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.

His arrival was confirmed by spokesperson Stanley Nkwocha in a statement released on Sunday. During his time in New York, Shettima delivered Nigeria's National Statement at the General Debate and participated in several bilateral meetings and side events associated with the Assembly.

According to the statement, Shettima is set to join President Tinubu in upcoming activities commemorating Nigeria's 64th Independence Anniversary.

So how this useless trip go take reduce the cost of fuel  Sad they keep wasting Nigeria resources and money travelling up and down the whole world, yet the country is still in hardship and no improvement

We always attend the UN as spectators.

We never make any big impact.


It’s like a child going to school just to answer “present” when the teacher is calling names from the class register.
