Bolanle Ninalowo has shared a heartwarming story about his relationship with his 18-year-old daughter, Aliyah
In an interview with VJ Adams, Ninalowo discussed how he navigated a sensitive request from his daughter.
Aliyah had initially asked to pierce her tongue, but Ninalowo was not comfortable with the idea.
He recalled that when he was young, he didn’t have the courage to express his own desires to his father.
However, he understood that Aliyah’s request was influenced by her peers who had pierced their tongues.
After rejecting the tongue piercing, Aliyah asked to pierce her navel instead.
Ninalowo agreed to this, reasoning that a navel ring could be easily removed. He wanted to show his daughter that he was willing to listen and connect with her.
To demonstrate his support, Ninalowo personally drove Aliyah to get her navel pierced and paid for the procedure.
