Speed Darlington, a Nigerian musician and comedian, was recently spotted in detention with his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, after being arrested over allegations of cyberstalking.

The arrest followed a petition reportedly filed by Burna Boy, accusing Darlington of defamation and cyberbullying through his online comments. The case led to Darlington being moved from Lagos to Abuja for further investigation.

His lawyer confirmed they were working on securing his bail, and Darlington has since been released after meeting the necessary conditions. The incident has sparked discussions about the limits of free speech and the legal implications of online statements in Nigeria​
