In Igbo land, it is customary for the groom to wear traditional attire, not pure black, which is often associated with mourning.

I also question the in-law and elders present for not addressing Jowizaza's attire.

As custodians of our culture, they should have ensured that he removed his face cap and dressed appropriately before receiving prayers.
