A Nigerian accountant, Lolo Nneka Obani, has taken a dig at women who discard their maiden names after marrying ‘below average husbands.’

She stated this in a Facebook post on Tuesday, December 10, while pointing out that Nollywood actress, Regina Daniel's certificate bears her maiden name despite being married to a billionaire.

“Look at the name on Regina's certificate, despite the fact that she is married to a correct Odogwu, her certificate still bears her maiden name, her social media handle too,” she wrote.

"Some people below average husbands never marry them finish, as soon as they reach house they become Mrs Ugochukwu Emmanuel David.

“They do not only discard their father's names, they discard their own names. Nwunye Odogwus them.”

It'll come to a time in Nigeria when Nigerian girls would see nothing bad in marrying their father or siblings. With way these civilisation gone crazy ladies are claiming freedom.

One problem with you Nigerian women is, you copy things of the white society stupidly. Our mothers don't see anything bad in dropping their maiden name to adopt their husband's name.
Hence the rate of single mother was very low at the time.
Since you ladies have discovered sex toys. You don't think men and marriage is important.
Why not marry your father if you don't want to adopt your husband's surname.  Or at least marry your brother.
