
Hudson Meek, the talented teenage actor best known for his role as "Young Baby" in the 2017 action film *Baby Driver*, has tragically passed away at the age of 16 following an accident.
According to law enforcement, Hudson sustained blunt force trauma after falling from a moving vehicle on December 19 in Vestavia Hills. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, but despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries two days later.
Hudson’s mother, Lane Wells Meek, shared the family's devastation in a heartfelt Facebook post, expressing their deep sorrow over the loss of their beloved son. She described Hudson as a young man who accomplished much in his brief life and touched many hearts.

In addition to his acclaimed role in *Baby Driver*, which received several Academy Award nominations, Hudson appeared in TV series such as *MacGyver* and *Legacies*, as well as the film *90 Minutes in Heaven*. He also lent his voice to various commercials, including those for Toys "R" Us and McDonald's.
Hudson’s obituary noted that he passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones and "the presence of the Lord." The family also announced that he would be an organ donor, ensuring that his legacy would continue by helping those in need of transplants.
