Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, a prominent Nigerian economist and social activist, has commented on the issue of food giveaway stampedes that have led to unfortunate fatalities.

She expressed hope that the judiciary would approach such cases with a sense of justice and compassion rather than rigid adherence to legal technicalities.

Her statement, "I hope the courts will act in the spirit of jurisprudence and not mere legalism on the matters of benefactors being held in custody for 'doing good that went wrong,' reads in part.

When there is a fail system and leaders can’t identify left from right. If the country was OK and at least people can afford some basic need, who will go for palliative were life will be a threat.

Gogoman, at least read to comprehend. We mourn the death of those future leaders, but those benefactors shouldnt be hanged for trying to do good just because it went wrong.
