
Popular online personality, VeryDarkMan, has strongly denied accusations of theft involving his NGO’s funds by publishing a 2,000-page bank statement from the organization's account. The statement, which was shared in a video on his X (formerly Twitter) page, reveals a current balance of ₦240 million, with only a ₦39,000 debited as a transfer levy.
The allegations surfaced after claims that ₦180 million had been stolen from the NGO’s account following a hacking incident on the organization's website. In response to these accusations, VeryDarkMan took to social media, addressing the matter directly in a video, where he personally refuted the theft claims.
In the video, the popular personality spoke candidly, showing his face and providing a detailed explanation. To further back up his defense, he visited the bank in person and obtained the bank statement, which confirmed that the funds remained intact, with the sole deduction being the ₦39,000 government-imposed transfer levy.
