Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy has made good on his pledge to gift ₦45 million to Trita, the brother of socialite Cubana Chief Priest, following a heated social media altercation that unexpectedly concluded with the act of generosity.

The confirmation came through Lucky Udu, who shared an emotional video on Instagram, praising Burna Boy for keeping his word. “Oh my goodness, Burna Boy just fulfilled his promise. My head want blow!” Udu exclaimed.

The video captured the heartfelt moment when Trita knelt before Burna Boy, expressing gratitude. In an emotional exchange, Trita prayed for wisdom to avoid future conflicts, saying, “I hope God gives you wisdom so you can navigate situations like this better in the future.”

Lucky Udu lauded Burna Boy’s commitment, expressing shock at the gesture. “I respect Burna Boy for this. You’ve answered someone’s prayer, and that means everything. To everyone watching, go to his comment section and thank him,” he urged. Udu also revealed plans to bring Trita to Abuja for an exclusive interview to share his story.

The post, which Lucky captioned, “Wow! God bless you, @burnaboygram, for fulfilling your promise to @iamtreater,” has since gone viral, earning Burna Boy widespread praise for his charitable act.

The gesture comes in the wake of a public feud between Burna Boy and Cubana Chief Priest. The dispute began when Burna Boy referred to the socialite as “Owerri Rick Ross” in a cryptic Instagram post, widely seen as a jab. Chief Priest fired back, recalling how he once paid Burna Boy ₦1 million to perform as a backup artist at his birthday party in 2018 and mocking the singer’s Grammy win, suggesting it was influenced by music mogul Diddy.

While fans continue to debate the altercation, Burna Boy’s action has shifted the narrative, cementing his reputation as a man of his word and sparking admiration across social media.

So, we will find out about this money in 5years time. What you outsiders don't know about a family, you will never know! If some are doing well and some are extremely poor, there is a reason behind it people. We all chart our course in life, a brother is not responsible for the destiny of his brother!
