Police Nab Ikorodu Teacher, Ngozi For Repeatedly Slapping 3Yr Old Over Writing Struggle

Mrs Stella Nwadigo, a female teacher caught on tape maltreating a 3-year-old boy, Abayomi Michael, during a writing lesson has been arrested.
 
Mrs. Nwadigo of Christ-Mitots School in Ikorodu was caught slapping and yelling at the child as he struggled to write the numeral “6.”
 
The teacher’s actions sparked public outrage, leading to swift intervention by the Lagos State Domestic and segxwal Violence Agency (DSVA).
 
Lagos DSVA’s statement on the arrest of teacher
 
“We appreciate everyone who brought the disturbing incident of a teacher who was recorded physically abusing a 3-year-old boy to our attention.

“We are pleased to inform the public that the teacher in question has been arrested by Owutu FSU, and an investigation has commenced in earnest. Indeed, institutions of learning should be safe, warm, and protective environments for all children in their care.

“The State Government remains committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of every child by enforcing strict regulations, holding offenders accountable, and working with stakeholders to promote a zero-tolerance policy for abuse in any form.”

The least she should have done was to take the child to the school authorities. There must be something wrong with anyone who would repeatedly violently assault a child that young. What if he fell and died, or the said spirit causes him to die one of these days very soon ?
