Hellen Ati, the woman allegedly involved with Nigerian businessman Cubana Chief Priest, has been hospitalized due to severe depression, as shared by her lawyer in a heartfelt social media update.
The lawyer revealed that Hellen is in a fragile condition, struggling with emotional distress resulting from Cubana Chief Priest’s refusal to take responsibility for their alleged child. The denial, along with online harassment, societal backlash, and intimidation, has left Hellen feeling isolated and vulnerable.
In the lawyer’s post, there was a strong appeal for compassion towards Hellen, who has reportedly been subjected to constant public ridicule. The post also criticized Cubana Chief Priest for his refusal to acknowledge his role as a father, urging him to take responsibility for his actions.
“To Cubana Chief Priest, why can’t you be a man and show some humanity?” the lawyer wrote. “Hellen’s first baby daddy takes good care of his child, but you’ve chosen to despise your own son.”
The lawyer further stated that Hellen is willing to fund a DNA test to prove paternity and challenged Cubana Chief Priest to do the right thing once the results are revealed.
“You said she should do the DNA test and sponsor it herself, so we’re ready to raise the money,” the post continued. “After the test, you will ensure that you do the needful. Pascal Okechukwu is your son, and there’s no doubt about it.”
The lawyer concluded the post with an emotional warning, stating that they would never forgive Cubana Chief Priest if he succeeds in causing harm to Hellen and their child.
The plea for justice has drawn attention, with many fans and followers expressing sympathy for Hellen’s plight and urging Cubana Chief Priest to take responsibility. The ongoing public dispute highlights the emotional toll of unresolved paternity issues and the pressure of online scrutiny.
