Nigerian music icon, Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Face or 2Baba, has deleted all social media posts related to the rumors surrounding his marriage and the alleged separation from his wife, Annie Idibia.
The controversy erupted on January 26, 2025, when 2Baba took to his Instagram account to announce his separation from Annie, his wife of 12 years. In the now-deleted post, he revealed that they had been living apart for some time and had filed for divorce. The original post read:

"Hello to my beautiful people of all federations. Well, this thing I have to say is short but also long. I and Annie Macaulay have been separated for a while now, and currently filed for divorce. I would grant a press release soon to say my story. Not because it is anyone’s right to know about my personal life but because I love my people and I need them to know my innocence or offense. Soon after, another post surfaced claiming that 2Baba's Instagram account had been hacked.

the post read.Following the confusion, the singer posted a video in which he denied the hacking claim, stating in Pidgin,

However, by the morning of January 27, it was discovered that 2Baba had removed all related posts, including the video, leaving fans puzzled about the status of his marriage and the authenticity of the divorce announcement.
The sudden deletion of content has left fans and followers questioning whether the singer's earlier statements were a result of personal issues or a public relations misstep.
