Because everyone does it in the western world doesn't make it not a sin. It is a sin because it advocates laziness and leads to animal cruelty and other various evils. If you want cash, work hard and it will come.

you are just over generalising.how can u say EVERY BODY ?. in fact the percentage of those involve is less than 10% that is if I have not over estimated
but then if every one is involve ,it does not make it agood act

to my own understanding i will say it is a sin b/c bet, in most cases causes fight may be by the time you bet witout fufiling it then fight follows, from fight it can also lead to death, is similar to aguement when some one ague you over what you are sure of you can loose your temper and do othwise pls avoid it. it is not advisable.

it is a sin, cos my bible told me that if someone slap u in one of ur chick, giv him the other side too. meaning that we shld not fight back. so it is a sin

Only if you are betting for something evil(theft, rape, pretence) or illegal.
In a nomal sense it is not illegal, i think ppl jst do it 4 fun.

Betting is an irresponsible act that has carefully found its way into the society without necesarry reprimand. It sounds more reasonable if people invest their money in profitable business ventures rather that behaving irrational by gambling throwing off their money into the winds and watching if it will come back double.
Betting is Ungodly and more of an irresponsible act.

becoz just like drugs......... u can get addicted and it will ruin u......
