Veteran Nollywood actor Asa Koko has passed away following an undisclosed illness.

The heartbreaking news was confirmed by his colleague, Kunle Afod, who announced his passing on Instagram.

Sharing a video from his last visit to Asa Koko’s home, Afod revealed that the late actor had been battling health challenges, including a swollen leg.

During their conversation, Asa Koko had mentioned that the state governor visited him in the hospital while he was undergoing treatment.

Afod’s emotional tribute read, “May his soul rest in peace. Asa Koko hmmmm. It’s a WRAP.” He concluded with prayers for the departed actor.
