Former Nigerian Idol winner, K-Peace, has accused the organizers of the reality show of failing to fulfill their promised rewards, despite publicly announcing that he had received them.
In an exclusive interview, the singer revealed that after emerging victorious, he was left stranded in Lagos without any financial support, despite being declared the recipient of a **₦7.5 million cash prize, a brand-new car, and a two-week trip to Dubai.**
According to K-Peace, multiple inquiries about his winnings were met with vague assurances from the organizers, who continuously claimed they were “working on it.” However, none of the promised rewards ever materialized.
“I walked the streets of Lagos broke and hungry, attending interviews on an empty stomach while the world believed I had received my prize,” he lamented.
He further recalled how the show’s organizers repeatedly delayed the handover of the car, claiming it was still undergoing branding.
“The public announcement made it seem like I was living a dream, but in reality, I was going through hell,” he added.
His shocking revelation has sparked widespread reactions, with many social media users calling out the show’s organizers for alleged deception.
