Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people? (Page 2)

to test how firm they are in their acclaimed faith, Allah says in the Holy Qur'an, Chapter 29 verses 2 & 3, meaning:
2. Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, "We believe", and that they will not be tested?
3. We did test those before them, and Allah will certainly know those who are true from those who are false.

Good and bad are the result of mental self..As in the principles of polarity. There is no difference between both..So is God and devil..
When we blame devil for every malfunction and praise God for all our good tidings, is to say we are victim of ignorance..In reality both God and devil are same and a state of our consciousness..

Death is not a bad thing but to human it is ,bcus of mental self..

 The Principle of Polarity … the idea that everything is dual…comes in twos and has its opposites…just like…
 The principles of rhythm... a to and fro...a flow and inflow...a swing backward and forward…

then…
The Principle of Gender… the idea that gender is manifested in everything….Gender is manifested as the Masculine and Feminine principles...and manifests itself on all planes….

then also…
The Principle of Cause and Effect which explains that there is a cause for every effect, and an effect for every cause…

…bust it bro…I have read and assimilated all these…before the second birth…which is beyond mental reasoning…
…you are merely expanding on natural laws put into effect by the first cause… the grand designer who ordered the universe and the human body… which is God anyway…

after the creation of everything...God said it's good...
at the beginning...If you had read The Holy Bible very well…there is…the principle of give and take action…between an individual and the creator (God – in as much as yous want him out of the equation)...

This principle we can also say governs all relationships within man and all relationships among men…between husband and wife in a home...among individuals in a society...between government and people in a nation...and among nations in the world…
…evil crept in…when that give and take action with the grand designer (God) was broken due to disobedience…and for the modern man...is continuing to break due to ignorance...

@All,my God is not an author of confusion.He is a perfect Father that loves us all so dearly(John 3:16) and always interested in seeing us happy.In 1 John 2: 2-3 the bible said what manner of love has the Father bestowed on us that we should be called the sons of God,Now,are we the sons of God...Our Father is more caring than our earthly Father to allow evil come upon us.It is for this reason that He said that if our earthly fathers know how to give us good gifts,how much more Himself.

The issues I would like to address are these;the mere fact that one is good does not make the person a child of God because morality,I mean people of good and living conscience may not necessarily be believers.remember that Jesus christ is the only way,the truth and the life and if you have not accepted Him as the Lord of your life,there is no two ways about it,you are not a believer and still under bondage of the devil (2 corinthians 5:21);and the next issue  is that of having the knowledge of the truth.Yes most christians do not know who they are in Christ Jesus because they do not have accurate information,knowledge about the Lord and who really they are.When Jesus died,He paid the fully penalty of sin thereby setting everyone that belives on His name free from death and any other consequences of sin(2 Corinthians 5:17;Hebrews 2:15-18,Colossians 1:13).In essence,Jesus did not just set us free from the bondage of sin and manipulations from the devil but also called us to a new life,way of existence.A life that is different from our old nature.Remember in John 1,the scriptures made it abundantly clearly that we are born again not of blood,nor of the flesh,nor of the will of man but of God.Also,in John 3,it said tha he that is born of the flesh is flesh and he that is born of the spirit is spirit.Therefore having born of the spirit of God,we are spirit being and should function in that light.To exist below that realm is to make yourself a mince meat for the devil wherein people would consider you a good person yet calamities of life would befall you just like the unsaved.IN THIS REALM,YOU ARE INSTRUCTED AT ALL TIMES BY THE HOLY SPIRIT (John 14).I will not leave you empty handed,I will send the Comforter who shall show you all things.

Part of our problems is ignorance and that is why the bible said in Hosea 4:6,my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.When you know who you are and the God you are serving,you cannot be be moved or destroyed.Also,the mere fact that the bible contains all the promises of God does not mean that the promises can work for us,we must know these promises and declare them upon our lifes,our busineses,our career and upon all areas that we want changes.Remember Elijah and Ahab,notice that Elijah did not say by the word of God,there shall not be rain in the land,instead he said by my word,there shall be no rain the land.We can escape evil if we are filled with the Holy Spirit and depend on Him for instruction and guidance.In summary,God does not allow evil to befall good people,ignorance does.

yes the are reason in every thing under the sun,people  who ask you how you come to kow the are good people,let us take example from the man in bible Job.

good for you and that which we call bad,we will know exactly that God meant good for us,sometimes it happen for his name to Glorifiedonly God can tell why it is only like that,but from what i know and experience if God should open on eyes to see what we think is

@xgel,d reason is because as rain falls on both d gud and bad,so as d sun and all comes frm God.to answer ur question, as bad things do fal on d bad ppl so as it fals on d gud.
