Principal charged with impregnating 15-year-old

The Principal of Government Junior Secondary School Farrang, in Fufore Local Government Area of Adamawa State, Mr. Maxwel Njome, has been arraigned over impregnating a 15-year-old primary school pupil.

Mr. Njome popularly known as ‘Chemical’ who was arraigned before an Upper Area Court in Fufore  is being charged with inducement, deprivation of the girl’s right to education  as well as impregnating a school girl.

When the case cameup yesterday, the accused person pleaded guilty for impregnating the girl, but denied inducing her or preventing her from continuing her education.

Counsel to the accused person, Barrister P. Elisha applied for bail while counsel to the complainant, A.A. Jatau asked the court to refuse the bail application.

After listening to both parties, Chief Magistrate Husseini  Musa Garba granted the accused bail in the sum of N500,000 with a surety in like sum. The judge also adjourned the case to March 30.

I blame the government 4 giving the man the opportunity as not only a teacher but a principal after knowing his name as CHEMICAL.

No molesting case was mentioned - that means the girl herself
like the act, but I am sure she won't like the result = pregnancy.
