What sense does it make, given the financial situation in Nigeria for a preacher to buy a private jet while there are other ways the money could be spent to the Glory of God. We often blame politicians for missusing our oil money, then what do we say about a preacher missusing church offerings and tithe. As an example, we have tons of primary and secondary schools that look like poultry farms. Ironically enough those parents that pays tithes and offerings at these church have their children in those schools. Will God be angry with this pastor if he makes it part of his ministry to rebuild those schools as much as he can. God loves a cheerful giver does not apply to giving to churches alone, it also apply to giving back to the society too. It is foolish for anyone to say - oh he worked hard for it........, I beg to be excused because thats an absolute nonsense. Why will foreign ministration or any other ministry activity be a justifiable excuse for such a nonchalant and arrogant display of wealth. We are a society abandoned to our fate by the government, is there anything wrong if churches help in building back the society? Or could it be that the pastor and his croonies want their own reward here on earth because heavenly reward is taking too long? Or could it be that, private jetting is becoming the new standard in ministration? What could be the justification???

BECAUSE AM SAYING THE TRUTH IS THAT WHY YOU THINK AM "MARKETING NEGATIVITY"? A PASTOR NEEDS NOT TO BE EXPERIENCED IN "MANAGING GOVERNMENTAL REVENUE" TO REBUILD A SCHOOL BECAUSE SUCH IS CALLED "CHARITY WORK". AGAIN I WAS NOT COMPELLING YOUR PASTOR TO DO ANYTHING OR ANY CHRISTIAN TO REMAIN IN AGONY OR BE CRUCIFIED LIKE CHRIST, RATHER I WAS SAYING IT LIKE IT IS.

Here in Italy, the catholic church is responsible for feeding just about all the hungry through their CARITAS organization. They give you clothes free, give you all kind of foodstuffs free, they take care of all the single mothers, motherless kids, foreigners etc. In my city, they have a restaurant you can eat as much as you like for free as long as you demonstrate you don't have a job. Non of the priests ride on expensive SUVs, they are paid by the church authorities and live by their earnings. They don't tax ppl money in form of tithes and obligatory levy as they do in Africa. In Africa, we lack just everything. schools are not equipped with efficient study materials, hospitals just lack what it takes to take care of patients, the roads are not done, the ones done pretentiously have no traffic signs. With all these wealth the church make, they could help develop that country instead of wasting it on luxuries that does not benefit the common man, who practically contributed the little they don't even have to make those men of God that rich.
