This is a good point. Some years ago, the very same question came up. I did some research...more needed though.
I will share that Easter as most celebrate it, has nothing to do with Jesus Christ at all. The world had turned it into something else completely. The origin of the word, etc. I will research also.
Though, after what I did find out some years ago, I have since referred to it mainly as Resurrection Day.
