Are you joking? Just in case you don`t know, when two people are married and they have kids, what is best for those kids is the most important thing. Is not about culture and tradition, but instead about what is/are best for the kids comes first.  If he is serious about having a family or if he truly love his girlfriend, then her cultural rules are something that they can over come

my brother 7 yrs relationship is not the issue, the issue is that how far are u going to end ur remaining life time under confusion. U guys stil have much time to decide, either she denouce her tradition or forget about u, bc to me marriing a girl bc of love and ending the love with regreat is something many guys always try to run away from.

Call her attension, explain to her, make her understand y d relationship should be cut off, i believ she will not blame u for dat. Morover go on ur kneels and pray to God. Goodluck

well seven yr7 in relationship is not 7day or 7 months, but wat is there now is that two people cannot go together unless they agreed. tradition or no tradition whatever that must be must be. telling the guy to leave the girl is not the best solution, because love is something that is beyond human capacity. tradition is a temporary tin is was established by human being and not by GOD. bcos that type was established wit a dibolical mean is not of the LORD. it is not what Bible said about narriage. It says a man should leave his family and climb unto his wife and from there they become one. and also a woman. the truth here now is that the guy has show the luv to the girl and had also sacrifice for the girl, it lets for the girl to show the love back and sacrifice by telling her parent hohaa that their tradition cannot stop her from following that guy and her children belongs to guy. both of them have believe in their heart that the tradition cannever affect them in any way if they must succeed they have to say it out stand strongly by the Almighty God to break that yoke bcos it is a yoke. but if the girl bend dawn to the tradition then she has marry her parent and not to blame the guy agan. if the parent want it the way they are saying why not give theri girl out so that she can go and get pregnant outside witout marriage. so the girl has to sacrifice for the guy if she truely loves him. tradition is man made is not what GOD said. Finally, You are not what the world said you are but what theWORD said you are.

Don't mind him. It's all made up. The tradition of children bearing their maternal father's name is true though. Nevertheless it's not true that the father has no claim on the children.

Tradition or no tradition,the guy also has a culture,and his culture stipulate that the children belong to him,which is (patriach).the ashanti tradition or culture shouldn't believe that the their is more supreme than any other people's culture.
