ictims of the 2011 post-general election in three states of Bauchi, Gombe and Kaduna have received succour from Dangote Foundation with the donation of N365 million and relief material. While 2, 265 families were identified and made provision for in Kaduna, 273 and 67 families were provided for respectively in both Bauchi and Gombe.



At the presentation to displaced persons in Bauchi State which was done by the Governor, Isa Yuguda over the weekend, victims were given cash and relief materials worth N40.22 million, those in Gombe State received N9.38 million in cash and materials while Kaduna victims who had earlier received some materials would also be given N317.10 million.

Executive Director, Dangote Foundation, Ahmed Iya, speaking during the presentation in Bauchi, noted that the humanitarian gesture by the foundation, which was in consonance with its commitment to positively impact the lives of the people was to provide succor for those affected by the crisis in the state following the 2011 general elections especially those who were still staying in temporary camps.
