Woman charged to court after calling man 65,000 times in a year !

A 42 year old Dutch woman was charged with stalking her ex-boyfriend after allegedly calling him 65,000 times in the past year,which comes out to an average of 178 calls a day over the course of a year.

The 62 year old man from The Hague filed a complaint with the police in August because of the excessive phone calls. The police have arrested the woman on Monday, and have seized several computers and cell phones from her home in Rotterdam.

Spokeswomen of the Hague prosecution, Nicolette Stoel, stated on Thursday that the woman had told the judges at the preliminary hearing that she was in fact in a relationship with the man and that the calls made to him weren't excessive. Of course the man denied that they ever had a relationship. The woman has been court ordered not to call him anymore.
