I take it English is not your first language due to improper sentence structure and your comment being ridden with grammatical errors. But that is besides the point. Where did Lesbians come into this? I know you are not making the attempt to suggest that I am one? LOL you and your simple mind. I am truly getting a good laugh right now. I am actually not one..just an educated female with too much to offer the world to deal with simple/one-track minded males. I come from a line of strong, educated, independent women who have men in their lives but make more than these men who (when Nigerian) simply can't handle being in the shadows of such women. So there is no emphasis for me to run out and engage with all of that..not right now at least. But I understand that a lot of this backwards thinking comes from a tradition that embraces it so I am just grateful that in my own family, I don't have to deal with that nonsense. So in response to your grammatically improper comment, COURTESY and MANNERS are subjective on so many levels. So there would have to be definitions set into place to bring those up. Nigerian men take almost anything as insult when in fact, it's just the truth. Like I'd said before..the men that cannot measure up can go talk to the basic females that would accept them with open arms. Lots of them are reading and commenting on this silly post in agreement..so clearly..there is a market out there..I am just not within that constraint..... @ngeri1 i totally agree with you, some guys are still threatened by a woman's success. Plus i totally disagree with the OP suggesting that just women should change who they are just to get married. LOL at too full of myself. Thanks for the comedic insert. I am actually not. In the states for too long? I can tell you must not leave the backward nature of wherever you are too often if at all. I was born and raised in the States, I'm a scholar, graduated with honors, do research and I am going to law school next year. I come from a family of 6+ figures but have a strong grasp on the world and societal function. So, if that's what you consider being too full of myself (which it actually is not)...use the term as you wish. Yardstick of measurement? That phrasing (though I can see how you would think so) actually does not apply. But nice try! It's not too far-fetched. LOL I agree, this site does have that standard that you just referred to. It speaks to the type of person you must be even. And I do interact with those as well. LOLOLOL...three languages..was that inserted to enhance an image of yourself? English is a universal language and not of your list of proficiency. Nice try from you as well! PS. Past that...the whole changing for me? I wasn't asking anyone to. I have no idea what that insert is even referencing. I am used to interacting with intellectual individuals who leave the constraint of marginalization. But hey...to each their own...specifically...you are entitled to your own opinion. I acknowledge that. Insult and fact are not interchangeable. I suggest you keep that in mind. Take care and continue to "feel funky"......
