A 36 year old woman has resurrected in Uzuakoli, near Umuahia, capital of Abia State, after staying for eleven days in the mortuary in Ibadan, Oyo State. The woman, Mrs. Charity Chigoziri Obioma, a member of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, died on November 15, 2011 after undergoing a heart surgery at the Kanu Nwankwo Heart Foundation in Ibadan while her remains were deposited in a mortuary. She came back to life on November 25 at Ubani, in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, a few kilometres to her home town while the corpse was being transferred to a local mortuary in preparation for her burial. On the way, she sneezed seven times in the ambulance and suddenly sat up on the stretcher.

At that moment, there was total panic and fear as the ambulance driver, her husband and a friend accompanying them were awed beyond belief. Mrs Obioma who spoke at the district branch of the church, said all she could remember was a man taking her from one place to another in the world beyond and showing her very many things and complaining of the evil deeds in the world. Before then, the man took her to a hospital theatre where an operation was carried out on her and all the ailments removed. According to the Special Senior Apostle, of the church, Emma Agomuo, “This is the great miracle of God, it is real.

The woman sitting before me and the husband are witnesses to the miracle that happened. I was informed by the Chief Army Salvation of the church that she actually died because I officiated at her wedding in 2007. When I was told she died, I felt very sad, and because of her commitment to the things of God, I promised to officiate at her funeral. Since I know of her activities on earth, I was confident that she would go to heaven. Only yesterday, someone called from London that she watched an on line programme that a miracle happened in my Church in Umuahia, while another person called to say I must come and witness it myself. Now that you people are here, I want to hear from her how she travelled to the land of the dead and back to life. Maybe she has a message from God.”

According to Mrs. Agomuo, “I don’t know what really happened to me. I did not even know when I was taken to the hospital. All I can remember is that somebody wearing a white robe and whose face I could not recognise gave me a helping hand. He took me away and to several places both spiritually and physically. “There were people I went to in the dream and others I visited physically at that period in time.

Such people can attest to it. I visited them in the dream, gave instructions and told them what to do. There were people I went to physically and they saw me and even shook hands with me. There was a woman I met and removed needles from her waist. I went into the wilderness and gave her a message in Lagos and they all saw me as a living person. I gave her appointment and she visited me as a living person. After that, I still went back to where I was and they did not know they were interacting with a ghost. By then, some people knew that I was dead, but the particular persons I visited were not aware of my death. “I went on daily lectures and it was this particular man who took me to all the places. He told me that I should not withhold whatever he was telling me to people of the world..

He said that he was very angry with all things he complained about and I promised to do that. Within the period, I would come to my husband and tell him he should not be afraid, that Jesus is alive. The stranger said he is angry with the world, including myself because we do not pay our tithes and many married men run after other people’s wives while married women go after other people’s husbands. He said Satan uses the activities of such persons to make a boast before him that his creations are disobedient. Before I went for the heart operation, I had a dream and told my husband that, if I did not come out alive, he should always trust in God to do his best..

I told my mother the same thing and asked them to pray for me and which they did. When they were making arrangements of buying a casket to bring me back to the village, I twice told them I did not want to travel back in a casket and that I should be deposited in a mortuary of their choice and wait for day of my burial if God so wishes it. They kept to my instructions. While travelling home eleven days after my death, they never knew what happened and I did not know either. “I used my hand to open my eyes, after frantic efforts.

The people at home were expecting my corpse that day, but I turned out to return a living being. I was really impressed because I never knew so many people loved me that much. They only saw me alive rather than my corpse.” The husband, Mr Obioma, said immediately they reached Ubani-Ibeku, near Uzuakoli, she sneezed seven times and started making efforts to sit aright from her lying position. The driver of the ambulance, a Yoruba man became very afraid and I told him not to be afraid and that God is in charge..
