Nigerians living in the UK demonstrated in front of the Nigerian Embassy London.This was done in solidarity with friends and family back home against the recent fuel subsidy removal by the Nigerian government. Fuel at the pumps have seen cost tripled in some cases making the cost of living for most Nigerians unbearable

AS FOR NAIRALAND: i want u all to know that a nation can lives in peace without beliefs and religion as long as there is justice in the land, "where there is no law there is no sin".....Nigeria needs justice, and for justice to take place, innocent blood will be shed as a sacrifice, families should commence possible and earlier evacuation of members now to neigbouring countries or village farms, Nigeria as a nation has peaceful and idiotic citizens that watch things get predicted and be taking advantage of, but when i listened to Tunde Bakare, conflict and/ or war is already initiated, youth must stand up and fight for the future, we have no future in nigeria untill we have to take this justice by fire by force, GOD ON OUR SIDE. America and the EU are at work, they have already predicted division on naijaland, dont allow them ruin this country (Nigeria) all bcoz they eye our functional and non-functional resources....we are the only country that could save Africa.....now they are at it as they successfully destroyed the giant USSR federation, Eastern Europe, the fastest developing Africa nation Libya, am afraid its our turn!!! letz change the name of this country from nigeria to Nairaland, it is a land full of honey and milk. Old, Youth, Women, Men, homebased and foerign based citizen of Nigeria, let us take our stand now as South Africa, Ghana and Egypt did. Itz time to eat the fruit of the Land!

Am proud to be a Nigerian any day but sincerely speaking, Nigeria is a failed nation, our government is our problem and yet religion leaders are engineer who power the downfall of the nation, lets put aside religion and do the right thing, if only 200,000Nigerians can be present in a convention or in a Muslims gathering and some one stand and telling us what is not right, why cant they lead the congression to the government house, rather than telling us to pray for a nation which the future lies in our hand, we have seen likes of Martin Luther King, and many reverend in the states who their names can never be forgotten and the rights they laid their lives for still lives on, and yet many of the religion clerk host the so called governors and president on occasions, conventions and even a VIP sections in government houses, Common Nigerians we need to live for Nigeria, we need to make this country a great nation, lets stand up against our so called leaders..

I am very happy now!! It is good to know that the mind of my people is still alive. I personally will do everything in my power, to stage a similar protest here in America. At the Nigerian embassy in New York. I am happy because years of tormentation can psychologically kill a people. Becos we keep quiet, dem been think say we don die, or say we be mumu...dat is why bankole was saying that he is above the law, and that Nigerians can never protest. Naija is not for sale...IMF DOGS PLEASE KEEP OFF!
