hello cadere or what ever u call ur self,u re looking for one nigeria right,now tell me do u have any relationship in the eastern part of the country as in is there any of ur relation that have ever gotten married to an igbo man,have u ever seen,so what re we talking about,look we re not one people and can never be,take for instance if u go to my village now u will see many yoruba woman that got married to igbos like wise igbos marring then the same thing aplies to the edos and other parts of the country,but iv never seen an igbo that did the same with the hawusa/fulanni,why becouse we re not ONE i repeat we re not ONE and can never be ok,so forget the idear of one ness ok,the only solution to that country is to divide thats all for peace to rain,,,,,i rest my case,,,,
Sometimes, I wonder and just observe what goes on around in the world, occurrences happening in Nigeria now didn't just started today, but right from the time we get independence. And on issues/ crises going on around the globe didn't just started today as well, but from the biblical age. Zekinsman, you shouldn't crucify Cadare, just because she shared her opinion. I wouldn't be more than agreeing with her that dividing Nigeria is not the solution, true, which is definitely not the solution. Let's agreed that Nigeria is divided today and the Northerners went their own way and now we are now left with the igbos and the yorubas, mark my word, you'll be among those that will be singing for igbos and yorubas to divide if problem arise,.the problems at hand is that we humans does not have tolerance, our heart is filled with evil which is why we don't love each other truly, tolerate each other, sincere, share with each other. Look at Genesis 6:5-6. The bible makes us understand that God grieved having created us humans when he knows our evil men's heart was. The other time, I was listening to a testimony of how an individual escaped death in which he found himself among other people that wanted to use them for rituals, and among those evil doers are politicians, pastors, bishops,you know, so you tell me who is truly godly. Thank god for that individual that is a man of strong faith and he is the only one who escaped. So, my brother lets continue to pray for Nigeria for God to sanctify the land of Nigeria, as there's to much bloodshed in that country. You know, I as a person I don't discuss religion, whatever every individual believe in, they should worship.think of this for once, both Christianity and Islamic religion are the world biggest problem. Nigeria being one or divided in not the solution. Solution to our problems is to fish out the true perpetrators of these atrocities and punish them whether our president, his vice or any other high ranking politician is involved. I believe some people are taking advantage of our gullible nature to divide and rule us and also to do all the THINGS he wants to do. We have seen so many countries that were divided and yet, no peace come. Sudan is a good example. That country was divided just in 2011, and the so called christians who wished to be separated with the Muslims now have their nation with pool of petroleum and yet they are currently slaughtering one another everyday. They have more problems as they are now shading the blood of their own brothers.
Dividing or not dividing Nigeria is not my problem but how can we have peace? We don't have to be sentimental.

I really dont know why you guys are surprised! We have a government that cannot nib Boko Haram, a government laden with corruption to the extent that they are unaware of what we called National Security, a government that cannot combat Boko Haram but can deploy military personnel to Lagos State to open fire and tear gas on innocent harmless civilians!!! A government that arrested Boko Haram suspect but does not till know knows how he escaped whereas innocent civilians are in life imprisonment for crimes they did not commit! A government that cannot account for how petroleum subsidy has been paid for over years! A government that is coward, corrupt, and loaded with criminals in and out! Nigeria Police killed innocent unarmed civilians during the last subsidy removal protest, they fired at them willingly but see their lives now, the are running helter skelter trying to hide themselves from Boko Haram. Even police IG cannot explain how the prime suspect of December bombing escaped, so do you still wanna place your security in the hands of this government.

They are bombing the police this time around, which is better than killing innocent civilians and it's up to the security services to crack this murderous gang. It is not about dividing Nigeria at a drop of a hat. Countries fight insurgency, including and civil wars and emerge from it united and stronger at the end of it.
