i think men should be around when their wives experience labour and during the delivery. It makes them respect their wives and handle them with care. it also gives them a picture of what their mothers , and women in general experience giving birth to children

Thanks to science women don't have to experience the archaic pain anymore anesthesia takes care of the pain. Meanwhile, the issue of being in the Labor room should be the decision of the couples and not doctors.

i seriously think the men should be there for the following reasons;
1.emotional and physcological support of the woman;when the man is there the woman feels more at rest with the one she loves not with a bunch of strangers.thereby enabling her to take the pain easier.
2.the man will see with his eyes what the woman has gone through and respect her for that.
3.it helps in the bonding of the father and child, not only mother and child.
4.it is the greatest honour if the father cuts the childs umbilical cord.
5.it aids faster healing for the wife.......
IF ANYONE DOUBTS ME DO YOUR RESEARCH...........................

Hmm d aspect of men been there while d labour goes on is not really fair to me bcoz dat wont bring respect, thou its might, bt to some men d respect mite jst b for some time and am sure abt it bcoz have seen alot of it, my wife or not my wife, i repcts women alot to the very extent every normal human bein will do, tlkless of d woman i calld my wife, d only tin i see there is dat wen ever d labour process goes on while d man is there its  d feelins,sympathy n mercy or mayb regrettable thing or pitty dat is necessary, so the pain mst surely come so while go crazy? woman shld make up their mind 2 face it.

In europe,men are allowed into the labour room.Its not new at all here in europe.i dont know about africa.But its better for any man who wants to join the wife in the labour room.
 A man that assisted his wife delivery will always apreciate the wife.

it should be a welcomed notion for men to witness  the event of child delivery bcos most men of this day forgot that women should be treated with soft hand.I think that will give an insight of the value of women to men a permuted case arises also when some wicked individual exchanges a male child to a female child bcs of the absent of an obsaver, so men should stand n watch.

Yes! and Yes ! and Yes!. Men should be allow in the delivery room. This will make men experience what their wives goes through during labour and at the time of delivery. By this their affection for their mother and wife will definitely increases because the labour pain and that of the delivery time is not what anyone who have not enter the labour room or experience the labour room drama can take about.

i think it is a good idea for the man to be by his wife during child delivery. it shows his responsibility, concern and love for his wife. At least two together. it shows they bonded together.

Yes men should be allowed in the delivery room especially those men who want to because after seeing what the woman or wife pass thru that man will respect hos wife and never lay his hands on her. if man can see the wife's nakeness during segxwal intercouse then He ought to be there because there is nothing to hide any longer. Men should be Allowed in the delivery room.

OF COUERSE THEY SHUOLD BE ALLOWED INTO THE DRLIEVERY ROOM SO AS TO KNW THE PAINS THEIR WIVES GO THROUGH AND THAT WILL DEFINATELY TEACH THEM A LESSON NOT TO RAISE THEIR HANDS TO BEAT THEIR WIVES. IT IS VERY GOOD FOR THEM TO BE IN THE DELIVERY ROOM. I REST MY CASE
