Good thing you have already identified your problem
I think it is half solved
I have to add to what pals have said
ensure u develop the culture of saving 25% of your salary each month.
take that out each month and then work your expenses on the remaining 75%
Go for NEEDS only and remember u can not please every one!

I have to commend you for investing in people
never mind that you didnt get those monies back
but one day when you lest expect it,
you will reap the fruit of your labour

My advice to you will be that you remember that "a man is the architect of his own life". What u earn in naija is much to give u a debt free life. Now, start to set up imaginary boundaries to govern your daily undertakings (eg limit communications to anybody and consider you immediate family first ie your wife, children n yourself). The boundaries must include a fiscal budget which u must diligently follow. For instance, when u collect this month salary, thrash only the do-without-needs, after u have segmented the salary into two parts. Be sure to fix half(compulsory) of the salary in a fix deposit of a long standing bank. Remember u cannot please all and u don't need to be right all the time. CONSIDER YOUR FAMILY FIRST. The truth is that if u fall, the same people u fed will laugh u to scorn. Don't forget to agree with your wife in prayers through Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior, the unchanging changer, the Alpha and the Omega as He said in His Words..."beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospereth" 3 John vs 2. Do your best, leaning on God always. ciao!

Hey  man  if  it  is true  thing  you said here,    then  know it clearly  that  you  have a spiritual  problem,  then  look for  a very nice  living  church  near  u   please before looking for church or  man of God  to pray for  u  first of all pray that God will  direct u to  a real one  not false  one pls,  then go there   and  prayer will be made for  u ,   make sure  you don't eat  God own money  i mean ur tithes  is your financial   power  God will see u through  as u do so  in JESUS NAME AMEN!    take  heart u r  very poor in spirit   wake up guy.
