I can quote for you from the books and verses of the Bible, and Quran, that there is nothing religious about anything you guys are saying here except, behaving with the same mannerism and conviction as Boko Haram. Also insults against one another under any circumstances are forbidden in both teachings, which carry the same weight in sin as Adultery/slander. And for that reason Jesus (Peace and Blessing Be with Him) from one of his famous sayings states that “if a man slap you turn the other cheek for him”.
Religion (Christianity/Islam/Jews etc.) throughout history has been used as a spring board for war/attacks from groups and individuals alike, which all claim to be in the name God. I am not here to make a comparison of who did the most or less, because it is counterproductive. Information on these matters is readily available to anyone from Google to local library.
Given the display of insults here on these thread, leave one in awe , not because the feelings of the reader is hurt but rather the level of distress and depression we Nigerians have succumbed.
Boko Haram is a frustrated group of people regardless of their faith or tribe, likewise armed robbers and most of our politicians. They all have one thing in common and that is to kill innocent civilians to achieve their goals. We all know how the first two target their victims, but the latter equally kill their victims and leave the depressed flesh roaming the streets in every corner in Nigeria. We are an oppressed nation by our own people in power, whose product are the likes armed robbers and Boko Haram in the mix of regular citizens and the depressed.
A Nigerian home or abroad carry these frustrations with them, where some utilize it to educate themselves and others choose to make quick bucks and wind up in foreign prison all around the world.
As long as our leaders continue to deprive its citizens their basic rights of shelter and food, due to their greed, Boko haram maybe the least of our problems facing us going forward.
I am not here to provide solution or to make sense of it all but I am here to plead on behalf of the victims of these senseless crimes from our politicians, armed robbers to Boko Haram, please hence forth on any thread dealing with these kinds of matters let all say a pray for the victims for comfort in their graves and to ask God to make way for us by providing just leaders and to protect us from aggression from any front.
It is fine if anyone disagree with me or does not share my opinion or have stated something incorrectly, I am open to dialogue with no insults, please don’t be offended.

May God bless and rest the soul of our fallen innocent citizens, and protect us against our aggressors also bring us together as brothers and sisters under one nation.

I'm fine dear. The muslims have all failed to realize that they are not doing enough. Instead of bothering about boko haram and protesting against their actions, they are always busy looking for excuses or attacking christians who voice out their anger as a result of persecution. What the christians say or do not say is all they care about. They are so cold hearted not to realize that christians are MOSTLY the victims of this boko haram madness, and somehow every christian home/abroad share the pain of the victims. I think it's high time they keep their useless opinion about christians to themselves and begin to speak out more against boko haram. Let them flood the streets of Nigeria to protest against boko haram. Let them release videos condemning boko haram. Let them concentrate on the problem and stop attacking victims and christians.
