That is the extraordinary claim of Italian journalist Federico Gennarelli of Radio Sportiva.
The Catalan coach secured the domestic treble and helped City become the first men’s team in English football history to win the league title and both cup competitions in the same season.

After three full seasons at City, he has so far failed to get past the quarter-final stage having lost to Liverpool last season and Tottenham this season, both of whom went on to reach the final in each campaign.
But with Max Allegri having left Juventus last week, reports now claim Guardiola will move to the Serie A giants, who own similar European ambitions, in the coming weeks.
Juve signed five-time Champions League winner Cristiano Ronaldo last summer but still could not progress past the quarter finals of the competition as they seek a first success on the continent since 1996.
And with Allegri potentially making a move to the Premier League after leading Juve to five titles in five years, Gennarelli claims Guardiola will give up his position at City despite having two years left to run on his contract.
Gennarelli said on Twitter: “It was supposed to be the decisive day. It was: Pep #Guardiola will be the new coach of the #Juventus. 4-year contract. Deal done.”
The claim follows reports from Guardiola’s native Spain that he met with Juve sporting director Fabio Paratici in Milan.
Paratici was pictured outside the Palazzo Parigi hotel in the city where Guardiola is currently staying and Onda Cero’s Mario Gago Huerta claimed to Sportitalia that the pair had a private discussion although that was not the purpose of his visit.
Instead, the reason for Guardiola’s Milan trip is thought to be for a charity event with sponsors.
It was added by Gago Huerta that Guardiola would be unlikely to leave England to take up the job in Turin even despite the allegations of Financial Fair Play breaches by City and suggestions they could be handed a one-year Champions League ban by UEFA.
But reports from Italy say, by contrast, that Guardiola will be take up the role will be officially unveiled as Juve boss on June 14.
The 48-year-old tactician gave an exasperated response when asked about his future with the Citizens just last week, however.
 

 
Those comments would seem to kill any suggestion that Guardiola is going anywhere in the near future.
It had previously been mooted that Guardiola could reach a verbal agreement with Juve to go to the Old Lady whenever he leaves City, with it having long been clear that he would take up the managerial role with the Premier League side as they long hunted to bring his talents to England.
Guardiola is under contract with City until the end of the 2020-21 season and if he honours his deal, it will be his longest spell as a manager at one club. He spent four years at Barca and three with Bayern.
Recent reports have suggested City want to tie Guardiola down to a new long-term deal given his success at Eastlands.

According to most people, it appears that Wizkid didn’t properly greet the icon after the latter extended a gesture towards him at the event – in the footage, Wizkid is initially seen greeting 2Baba before he then heads on to acknowledge the man of the moment, Patoranking.
Seconds later, 2Baba is then seen extending his hands to shake Wizkid and it seems as though Wizkid neglected the hand shake for about two seconds before he then responded.

The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi on Wednesday jokingly thanked President Buhari for not converting him to Islam, saying he has been attacked severally for associating with a President who many assumed was planning to Islamize Nigeria.
Amaechi said this at the valedictory Federal Executive Council meeting at the State House Abuja yesterday Wednesday, May 22nd.
The former Rivers state governor narrated how he was almost chased out of Christ the King Catholic Church in 2014 for supporting the president, who they alleged was trying to Islamise the country.
 “Mr President, let me thank you for not converting me to Islam. I say that specifically because in 2014 when I walked into Christ the King Catholic Church, I was literally chased out of the church as a governor because I was accused of supporting a man whose agenda was to Islamise Nigeria.

In what looks like a tradition, the 19th anniversary celebration of the Chief Ralph Uwazuruike-led Biafra Independence Movement, BIM, yesterday, turned bloody in Onitsha and environs as two BIM  members were allegedly  shot dead by the Police.
The celebration also led to the arrest of no fewer than 10 members of the movement, just as about 15 of them sustained various degrees of bullet wounds.
Reacting to the incident, the Ogbaru Regional Administrator of BIM, Amadi Ifeanyi, aka Ochiagha, told newsmen they were hoisting their flag at about 2a.m. yesterday morning at Upper Iweka axis in preparation for the anniversary when the Police stormed the place in three Hilux vans and opened fire on them which resulted in the instant death of  two of their members.
According to the Regional Administrator, “they arrested 10 of us and over 15 got bullet wounds, even when they knew that we are a non-violent organisation struggling for a Biafran state.”
Amadi, who spoke through his Director of Finance in Ogbaru, Ezeaka Martins, demanded the release of the corpses of their members, even as he identified those killed as Innocent Okoye and Uche Ezinwanne.
Also speaking, Chuks Nnaedozie, the Ogbaru Director of Security, gave the names of those injured and hospitalised as Clifford Nwankwo, Ndubuisi Ikpeazu, Aloy Ibeh, and others yet to be identified.
In his reaction, the Regional administrator for Onitsha North, Christian Umeaka, added that one of his members has not been seen since he was arrested by the Police when he went to hoist  the flag, adding that no amount of intimidation would stop them from struggling for a Biafran state.
Attempt to get the police to react to the allegation proved abortive as the DPO incharge of the area could not be reached.

Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele has raised the alarm that the country might  slide back to recession except urgent measures are taken to address the high rate of unemployment.
He said the country has made progress in the year under review but more efforts  were needed to reduce the staggering unemployment rate.



He expressed his concerns when he delivered the Eminent Persons’ Lecture Series  with the theme: “Beyond the global financial crisis: Monetary policy under global uncertainty” at the University of Benin, yesterday.
The warning came exactly a week after he alerted Nigerians to expect tough and rough years.
“The road ahead is tough and rough. I want to appeal to our people to respect the policies of the country. We always put good policies in place, but implementation is a problem," he stated when he appeared before the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions, as part of his reconfirmation hearing, blamed part of the country’s woes on disrespect for the rule of law.
Emefiele, who explained how the CBN led the country out of recession, however, warned that going forward, saboteurs and others who flout economic policies of the government will be prosecuted. He said despite the policies put in place by the Federal Government, implementation was always a challenge.
He also warned against the nation’s growing population and explained that if not properly managed, it will become a liability.

CBN has now mandated all banks to open a fraud desk to handle cases.
The bank will investigate, prosecute and reverse such dubious transactions even though the scammer has withdrawn the money.

2. Say you use UBA and you paid money into your instagram seller’s(scammer) Zenith account, you can simply send a mail to [email protected].
Make sure you copy the CBN at [email protected] (This puts the banks on their toes).

3. The banks should block such a suspicious account IMMEDIATELY a complaint is received via the fraud desk.
They can receive customer’s STOP-TRANSACTION complaints to block their own account.

He also advised that people can visit CBN’s website for more details on how the proceed use works.

A suspected gang of Kidnappers have kidnapped a traditional ruler in Osun state, Chief Tirimi of Ibokunland, Amusat laleye Dusin.
Chief Dusin was kidnapped on Monday evening along Ijebu/ Esa Odo road in Osun state. This was made known by a relative of the victim, Mr. Ajayi Awesu, who spoke to press via telephone.
The vehicle belonging to the 60-year old abducted chief was later found around AGRIC AREALONG Esa Oke.
Awesu said the securities agencies had been informed and that they were in search of Chief Dusin who was said to have been kidnapped around 10pm in his car.

Operatives at the Kuje Medium Security Prison in Abuja have apprehended one Mr Clement Jacob of Deidei village in Abuja for attempting to smuggle substances suspected to be Indian hemp into the prison facility, Vanguard reports.
 
Public Relations Officer of the Federal Capital Territory FCT Command of the Nigerian Prisons Service, Humphrey Chukwuedo in a statement made available to Vanguard yesterday said, “the substance which was hidden in a sandal, was expected to be delivered to one Emeka Onyejikachi, an inmate of Kuje prison who is in custody for a case of possession of hard drugs”.
Luck however ran out on Jacob when he exchanged his sandals with that of the inmate after his session of prison visit.
“Inspector Hussain Ibrahim, the officer in charge of the visit area noticed the quick exchange of footwear and requested for another search after the visiting session was over.
“During the search, inspector Hussain carefully tore open the foot of the sandals thereby exposing the illegal transaction”, the statement explained.
Upon interrogation, Jacob who feigned ignorance, said one Mrs Emeka had called him to assist her in paying Mr Emeka a visit. He was also instructed to exchange his footwear with the inmate before leaving the premises.
“The Controller of Prisons FCT command, Mustapha Illyasu Atta commended the alertness of the officer and further wish to remind members of the public and family members of inmates of their responsibility in ensuring that the inmates are properly reformed and rehabilitated.
“The Controller of Prisons pledged the commitment of the officers and men of the Command to rid Prisons in the command of illicit transactions that are capable of compromising security and discipline in the Service”, the statement added.

Nigerian popstar, Davido has unfollowed teen comedy group known as Ikorodu Bois on Instagram.
This is coming after the comedy group revealed Davido has not given them the 1,000,000 million Naira he promised since January.

A man who disguised as a soldier and attacked veteran singer, Baba Fryo has been arrested.
