Popular Nigerian actress, Dayo Amusa has revealed some details about her past before becoming a celebrity.
The actress shared a 16-year old throwback photo as she revealed that she was always feeling like a very big girl from buying and selling okirika.
According to her, she was buying Okirika 1st grade on Mondays, Wednesday & Friday at Tejuosho market to wash & take to school (Mapoly) to resell.

 

Sharing a throwback photo, she wrote:

Spanish Police have busted a network of Nigerian voodoo sex traffickers who use illegal migration routes to smuggle young girls into Europe.
According to The Southern Sun, the sex slaves are being groomed in Benin City, Edo state by mafia-style gangs promising them a better life in Spain.
Police said it was headed by three Nigerian women who target young women living in virtual poverty.
They were submitted to voodoo rituals threatening terrible consequences to them and their families if they disobeyed the organisation, police said.
Parts of their bodies were smothered in animal blood before they were threatened with death or infertility if they failed to obey the traffickers.
The women are being smuggled into Spain via Niger and Libya – before being told they owed up to 40,000 euros to their traffickers.
They are then being ferried to Italy in rickety boats along with scores of other desperate migrants.

Once in Italy, the syndicate flies them to Spain, using ID belonging to other women of Nigerian origin living legally in the country.

Although the police have been working around-the-clock to combat the traffickers, those that work and live in Benidorm a seaside resort on the eastern coast of Spain, say the problem has not gone away.
One bar manager told the Sun Online that apart from prostitution, the girls also engage in theft.

President Muhammadu Buhari who is on a visit to Saudi Arabia on a lesser hajj has visited the tomb of Prophet Muhammad in Madinah.

A Chief Magistrate Court has ordered the police to arrest popular Kannywood actress, Hadiza Aliyu Gabon, after their Thursday sitting.
The court ordered for the arrest of Hadiza Gabon after she failed to appear before it to answer to allegations against her by Mustapha Badamasi Naburaska.
The Chief Magistrate, Muntari Dandago, also ordered the police to investigate the assault allegation against Hadiza.
“Since the invitee is not willing to respect the order of this court, I hereby order the C.O.P [Commissioner of Police] to cause the arrest of the invitee”, he said.
“I further order the C.O.P to investigate the allegation of the complainant and if there is an iota of truth, to charge the suspect before any court of law for prosecution,” the court held.

A 24-year-old lady Beatrice (not her real name) have narrated how she slept with 600 men for survival in her prostitution business.
Beatrice who happens to be a student of one of the vocational institutes in the country, bewray that the habit of sleeping with men in return for cash for survival has now become her way of life.
According to her, she is supposed to use what she has to get what she needs when her boyfriend who was sponsoring her education abandoned her midway following lies told against her by jealous friends.

she stated:

She said that when her boyfriend walked out of the relationship, she got a job in the bar section of a hotel but her take-home pay could barely take her anywhere. So, one day, she went to a night club with her friends and a man took her to his hotel room. The following morning, the man gave her GH¢200 for services rendered and she was hooked.
Consider what she said: “They were paying me GH¢150 a month and you work late hours. But if you go out to hustle in the night, you can get that kind of money within a day or two. About 600 men slept with me from last year to this year.”
But Beatrice is now singing a different tune. She said that she later discovered that prostitution is not as lucrative as she had thought.
She said that she is tired of warming men’s bed every night, adding that she wants to settle down.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has told Justice Rilwan Aikwa of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos how Muhammed Belgore, governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2011 Kwara State gubernatorial election, shared N126.5m to members of the Kwara senatorial districts.
This came up on Wednesday during the cross-examination of Belgore on the alleged cash out of the N450m allegedly paid by a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Allison-Madueke.
The sum was allegedly to manipulate the outcome of the 2015 general election in favour of former president Goodluck Jonathan.
At the resumed hearing, Rotimi Oyedepo, the prosecution counsel, asked Belgore if he recalled that he had stated, in his evidence, that he saw N450m at the bank, signed the receipt and instructed the bank to safe-keep it for him.
Oyedepo further asked Belgore if he recalled that he also stated in his evidence that he called a stakeholders’ meeting upon receipt of the money. Belgore responded: “Yes, I called a stakeholders’ meeting. It was at the meeting we discussed the disbursement of the money and agreed that each senatorial district should nominate two people each, who would collect money for their district.
Oyedepo put it to Belgore that:“ Mr. Zikrullah Balogun, your personal assistant, made several disbursements on your instructions and received in cash N80m; Mr. Sheriff Shagaya received N50m; Mr. Isa Beau, N61,656,000; Mrs. Shola Adeoti, N102,298,000; Mr Iyola Oyedepo, N9,574,000 and Senator Sulaiman Ajadi,N19,689,000.”
Belgore told the court that the stakeholders gave him instructions which he passed to his personal assistant, Balogun, to carry out. “Yes, i was informed that they all received the money and it was paid in cash,” he confessed.
Justice Aikawa adjourned the case to June 17, 2019 for continuation of cross-examination.

Davido has reportedly un-followed Zlatan Ibile on Instagram after it was alleged that he never got involved in the release of the rapper from EFCC custody.
A check on the singer’s page indicated that he is no longer following Zlatan.


Although there are some reports that Davido never followed the rapper in the first place, but another check indicated that a  photo of Zlatan uploaded on his page, has been deleted.
In the deleted post, Davido expressed utmost joy over the release of Zlatan Ibile from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
It is however alleged that he deleted the post following allegations by Zlatan Ibile’s friends that Davido distanced himself from Zlatan during the time of his arrest by EFCC.

A 35-year-old Nigerian woman has been arrested alongside a 38-year-old Pakistani man by police in Malaysia connection with the murder of one Siti Kharina Mohd Kamarudin in Selangor.
According to Selangor Malaysia police chief, Datuk Noor Azam Jamaludin, another suspect, a Nigerian man in his 30s, Oluwajuwon Gilbert Alowonle, is currently at large.
Siti Kharina’s partially clothed body was found in a one-bedroom studio apartment unit in Third Avenue Condominium in Cyberjaya at about 2.30pm on May 15, 2019. This led to the arrest of the two suspects in Kuala Lumpur.
“We are tracking down Alowonle, who entered Malaysia in January, 2019, to assist in investigations.


“We are in the midst of establishing the motive of the murder, the relationship between Siti Kharina and the suspects, as well as the links between all the suspects,” said Noor Azam.
He added that victim’s body was discovered after investigating officers responded to a report made by the unit’s landlord who had spotted blood flowing out from the door.
The body was discovered lying face up, on the floor. It had slash wounds right on her chest, neck and head. She’s believed to have been dead for four to five days

The Anambra state police command has asked residents of the state to disregard the sit-at-home order issued by members of the proscribed Indigenious People of Biafra, IPOB.
IPOB had released a statement directing its members and indeed residents of the state to sit-at-home on Thursday May 30th as they pursue their fight for the actualization of Biafra.
