Jesus chased out traders from the  temple because they OCCUPIED the temple for the sole purpose of TRADING......... you got that?? The girl on the other hand came to church to WORSHIP on a SUNDAY..........you got that  too?? Why trying to mix APPLE with ORANGES?? Even a 5 year old can spot the differences in these situations. By the way who told you that the girl refused to humble herself before God?? She was publicly insulted by a reverend, and that's OK by you??. If the reverend was so concerned, he should have invited her to a corner and advice her like a father, is there anything wrong with an approach like that in the catholic faith?? Why would the reverend not judge the girl by the content of her character first instead of her outfit first?? If everybody starting judging every catholic reverend going by the story of others molesting young boys would that make it fair?? Bros, learn more to change the way of your thinking. @Majestic3xd, for some reason you seem  to be a very angry fellow. Could the reason for your anger be as a result of your "subsidy holiday"? Boy, give yourself a break and quit hating. I might read or gaze at the Bible  like a novel, one thing for sure, I got something out of it better than you and your so called reverend and  according to you " those who put their lives in it n notin else". Other than your unintelligent gibberish trash on the post, you have not been able to make any sensible or reasonable reference to anything whatsoever, be it the Bible, journal or any other scriptural material. You are catholic, and you have proved  me  right. If i may ask, why did you not read my Bible quote before turning your focus on me?? Do you have phobia for reading the Bible?? I am almost sure you read the original post and from your bla bla response to my comment  its very apparent the you did not understand what you read about the story. The reverend in the post verbally attacked  the girl first and unfortunately for him she responded the way she knew best. My pastor on the other hand was never attacked the day she ventured into the church. Had she been attacked, who knows how she would have responded. With these explanations, don't you think that you are the one taking things out of context?? My pastor is a she not a he! Besides, no man of God changed her life but God himself did. According to you the ways of people are different, but why can't you and the reverend realise that and let them be?? Does being a priest or catholic make a  person God?? It would be nice you guys make an arguement based on quoted scripture not just from what you think is right. The reverend was wrong......period! It does not really follow that the girl is having an afair to know how she likes it done. Pls tell the guy to be a man, add some energy and new style to sweeten their relationship. But if he can't, the girl should move on and find herself something better, life is too short. If that is not done now she will regret it down the road and more lives will be messed up. Obviously, given most of the responses am reading hear not too many know the scripture including the reverend himself. Catholics hardly know the scriptures bcos they have a resital that they follow 99.99% of the time denying themselves the knowledge of reading the Bible. As a man of God the reverend should know better. Refer to Romans 10:1-2, I would say the girl has an unenlightened zeal for God and that's why she came to church in the first place, why should her dressing be an issue to a revereend? Also refer to Romans 14:1, 4, 10-12. Do not judge anyone bcos each of us will be accountable to God. A deacon our church ones sent away a poorly dressed new comer to the church, when our senior pastor heard about it, she was so furious that it became the sermon of that sunday. My pastor and her husband were hard core junkies on motor bikes when they show up in a church and got saved. Today this woman of God is transforming my city one block at a time. Had she been sent away............who knows what would have become of her. Do you think God would have been happy??

Sis, I can feel your pain. Definitely God will judge these bunch of thieves. She call herself a minister and she can hardly defend what the heck  they are doing to Nigeria. They are all clueless on the duties in which they appointed. What they know best is how to steal our money. As if we don't know their main objective........increase the cost of fuel in order to carry the money abroad........a collective bunch of senseless idiots. Our local fuel consumption is not even subsidized in the first place. They think they can continue to fool Nigerians.
