Good one dear. This is educating. u need to do more to continue to educate people to make sure we all have the right perception about the North. I'm also one of those who believed north is north no matter what but now I know better. Meanwhile, try not to sound argumentative  so pple will not misunderstand your point. Let your article be free from biasness. Nigeria will be great!!!!!

I LIKE YOUR REPORT AND IT SHEILD MORE LIGHT INTO THOSE THAT DON'T NO MUCH ABOUT NORTH, I AM WESTERNER LEAVING IN THE KANO. DIVERSION, (PERMISSION TO ASK THIS QUESTION) WHY IS IT THAT PARENT IN THE NORTH, NOT SENDING THEIR CHILDREN TO SCHOOL WHY NOT SENDING THEM TO LEARN HAND WORK, BECAOUS IS NOT COMMON AT ALL HERE IN KANO AND OTHER NORTHERN STATE. IF U SAY UNEMPLOYMENT IN SOUTH-WEST ETC. THEY ARE GRADUATES ,BUT HERE IN THE NORTH NO SCHOOL, NO HOUSE, NO PARENTAL CARE, NO CAUTION. JUST TO BEG SMOKE AND SNIF HARD DRUGS

I have an Uncle that stays in Kaduna,so I visit Kaduna often.I know there is a large presence of Christians in Kaduna.I also know they are other major tribes in Kaduna......like the Zango Kataf and the people of Southern Zaria who claims indigenous ownership of Kaduna.I spent a year in Adamawa State during my NYSC.I know that Adamawa state alone have up to 120 tribes or even more,with a large presence of Christians.Most of us Southerners already knows what you are saying.......what you called a misconception is not really a misconception.We live in this country and we know what has been happening in this country.The other tribes in the North will shout to make you know they are not Hausa/Fulani when it suits them, but any time the chips are down the other tribes in the North always line up behind the Hausa/Fulani.......that is the reason we continue to take the North as homogeneously Hausa/Fulani even though we know it is not.That is also the reason the Hausa/Fulani will continue to dominate them
