this is sheer ignorance...the same reason why Jesus did not jump down from the mountain when did devil tempted him is because you cannot tempt the lord thy God...  the scripture mark 16:17-18 refers to when you find yourself in that situation not you deliberately going to pick up a snake..the bible is not just a book...

This man just died for nothing.
That scripture did not mean to deliberately carry a poisonous snake and test God.
This works when u are in a 'no escape situation', then God will send his angels to deliver u.....
May he go and meet God there........

I CHALLENGE NIGERIAN PASTORS WHO PROFESS TO BE "MEN OF GOD", "ANOINTED ONE" TO MOVE THE GOAL POST FROM HEALING PEOPLE??? TO PICKING UP SERPENTS.  IF UNHARMED AFTER BEING BITTEN BY SERPENTS, THEN SOME DOUBTERS MAY BE CONVINCED AND MORE SOULS WILL BE CONVERTED!!!!
