Without casting aspirations to the man of God, there are other places the bible mentioned about alcohol. Another place is in Proverb  where it is written: GIVE ALCOHOL TO THE FOOL. Also our body is the temple of God. All should watch smoke we add into this Gods temple from cigarette, or intoxication and consequences of alcoholism especially the free booze or drinks with friend which over gauges. Above all discipline and hearing from God. Govt and regulatory authorities are doing their best to regulate the sales and making the consequences clear. Ask any sincere doctor or pastor or whoever who has this addiction and he will tell you he needs Gods grace and mercy to quick. Lots of love.

Well in issues like this i am very careful to castigate anyone because i did not hear it face to face with ear. However, if that is what the pastor said, i will say no that is a total heresies. The bible says in (1 Pet. 2:21,22) For to this you were called, be-cause Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should walk in his steps: Who committed no sin, Nor was guile found in His mouth) If Jesus is our example, Jesus never smoked, take alchohol. The body is the temple of God (1 Corinthians 6:9 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?)> if the body is the temple of GOD and God resides in there why will you soil or defy it. The indwelling Trinity cannot be in your and you are indulging in such rubbish "Jesus replied, "John 14:23 If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. Smoking, drinking, masturbation etc. are all works of the flesh and anyone indulging in it will not go to HEAVEN. see Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousies, wraths, factions, divisions, parties, envyings, drunkenness, revellings, and such like; of which I forewarn you, even as I did forwarn you that they who practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." (Gal 5: l 6-2 l).
also see Collosians 3:5-6 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:for which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience. LET KNOW PASTOR DECEIVE YOU. BE LIKE THE BAREA WHO GOES BACK TO SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES. (And the people of Berea were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, and ... of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Acts 17:11>>> Most of these pastor need help becasue they don't know. i don't believe in titles. spiritual things are spiritually discerned.
