Reasons: she entered mine in her phone as "My Love" whereas I entered her as "Solange" which is her name.
Honestly, I see nothing special in those lovy-lovy pet names. I am faithful not for her sake but for the fear of the Lord! Since she did that over two weeks ago, I have not replaced it with any other name.
This is serious, not the usual play-play issues!
Is there any special meaning in pet names?

IF calling her a pet name will make her happy i think you better do it and preserve your marriage.Infact as her her name is SOLANGE maybe cut the name and add something sweet to the other part...i know you understand.

Can't she also make me happy by taking things as they are? I had that name in my phone ever since before marriage, why did she not complain about it then?

Using a pet name is a sweet sentiment, no matter how silly, weird or abstract the name is. Cos to her its a sign that the two of you have a very healthy and strong relationship. Emma go apologize to her now..and use Cuppycake,strawberry,or even Jollof Rice.. or sweet mango baby

It means nothing to me, call me Emma, honey, bitter kola etc changes nothing in my sentiments. She choosed a name for herself and I choosed mine, why wahala now??

oh My friend,i think you need to be a bit flexible...ok,lets be rational about this, 1.count the number of times that your wife went out of her way to please you and count the number of times you've done the same for her. 2.Ask yourself "IF I WAS THE ON DEMANDING FOR THIS PET NAME WOULD SHE DESPISE MY DESIRE"?
