Ths happened to me before way back in 2006 and I wanna believe my value or the money then is way much than the value of his now.
Mine was 4000 dollars supposedly to be my school fees for the first time travelling out of the country. I was on board Emirate and got to Dubai before I could realize it. Could have put an end to my travelling and studies, but thank God and goodness for the lovely family I had who kept me all through it. What am saying in essence is its not the first time they have been doing it, and probably wouldn't be the last. Kinda make u wonder what kinda of society we live in Nija. I just hope these security personnel could be caught and be severely punished. They make merry at the expense of others earnings, May God assist the IGP to fish them out and deal with them properly. Sometimes I wonder why we don't have the capital punishment in Nija to deal with people like this as examples to their fellow and people like Farouk Lawan who says he took money but not bribe. Guess the Idiot doesnt understand English.
