It really beats my imagination the way some you( including the sugar-daddy who claims to reside in USA) reason.... As far as i know, the issue here is not where the shopping mall is sited but how the serving Governor got all that money to build it..... Even if the mall is built right in sugar-daddy's compound or in their village square, that does not justify embezzlement of public fund..... Let's try be logical and reasonable in our contributions to issues that bother on this nation instead of allowing sentiment and ethnic-ism to becloud our sense of judgement.

You just said my mind Sugardady. What will happen to this man,if he build this stuff in Anambara State and this will aid development and also creat job opportunity to Anambara people,but he went all the way from Anambara to Hausa land to build it,tomorrow when we fight for biafara he will be kicking against it because of his investment in Nigeria.This is the same problem we have during the war,and Ojukwu was shouting Ibos come home come home lets reason together,no body hear until huasa people kill dem finish.

I am from Imo State,i have never seen a house in Owerri owned by an hausa man,i have never seen a land property owned by an hausa man in Imo state,i have not seen an hausa man answering landlord in Imo state,i have not seen an hausa man renting an apartment in Imo state. They all sleep on street with their mat because believe say one day they will go.

Na somebody like this man follow dey kick against Biafara,this people say that anything that has to do with western life is evil and you leave your home to their to develop it for them.Anyway i trust muslims and i believe say their bomb still they work for Abuja. So this structure is not exempted.

am only interested in where the funds came from...for his choice of location, i have no issue cos if i have that kind of project in mind, none of my first five branches would be located anywhere in the east. the real inhabitants of the east are average and mostly below average nigerians, who would not even think it in their minds to shop in the mall. we all know that the wealthy easterners are all based outiside the east. any businessman that wants to make profit from a shopping mall business should think ABJ and LAG first. i only challenge the source of funds and also queston the eatern leaders near-insignificant efforts in developing the east and encouraging investors.... like i said, if you set up such a project in most parts of the east, it will collapse before one year runs out!
