My friend you want them to introduce which language? in my secondary school days, we studied,IGBO,HAUSA,YORUBA,FRENCH AND ARABIC (You must select at least a local dialect). So, I see nothing wrong in learning Chinese language.

It'll be good if they make Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Urhobo, etc. languages in the curriculum so students can learn other languages of our mother tongue. Those who would love to learn Chinese can learn it at a highscool or college level per-say cuz not everyone will "further their studies in China" at the end. Some are not yet good at speaking or writing English (our official language) or their own native tongue and they want to bring in Chinese. Let them bring chopsticks and their whole culture to make it complete. Nonsense
