Dangote Splashes N130M On Super Eagles For Reaching the Finals

Aliko Dangote has splashed the sum of N130 million on the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles for reaching the final of the ongoing 29th Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in South Africa.

The Eagles reached the final of AFCON 2013 by thrashing the Malian national team 4-1 in the semi-final match on Wednesday.A statement from Dangote Group explained that the gesture is part of Dangote Group’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) to promote and encourage sport development in Nigeria. The donation is to acknowledge the exploits of the national team at the AFCON and stimulate them to bring home the coveted trophy.

The Sports minister Mallam Bolaji Abudllahi, speaking on the donation said: “Dangote has always demonstrated commitment to government and the people of Nigeria

he is crazy,,nothing is bad in his donation to the eagles,though... but  let him open orphanges in all geopolitical zones in nigeria,,, feed the poor, cloth them, send them to school, open a scholarship scheme,, foot hosptial bills for the poor,,, before  we can call him a philantropist,,,,

Go to our hospitals and see how people are dying for not being able to afford their medical bills.

He wants the whole world to see that he is giving to the already rich eagles.

If you really want to give sneak to any poor community and give to families that are starving to bed.

Why's he giving 130m to ppl that are already rich. If he really wants to give, he should give to those who are needy. At least make use of all that money by helping the poor.
