"why can't you dress the African way" wtf is the "African way"? why does their way of dressing matter to you people, you guys don't pay their mortgage for them, or pay their bills, so why should YOU PEOPLE have a say in how they dress, that explains it, when i went to Nigeria and i had on shorts, i was being stared at like some prostitute, like wtf? its abot 90 degrees outside and u expect me to wear long pants? i wish someone would tell me what to wear, smh, that's why Nigeria will never change, u guys its freaking 2013, grow up and change! u can wear what you want, but don't condemn other people's idea or lifestyle just cause it doesn't fit yours, like jeez. and FYI, nigeria has more problems(boko haram) for y'all to worry about, and not people's dressing. people are getting killed and starving for goodness sake, focus on that, instead of this.  Shocked Embarrassed Embarrassed Cry Angry Angry Sad

it's called self respect, the way these women dress does not determine their worth, as a fellow lady i feel its ok to dress the way we want, i dress however i want, but i also get the self-respect i deserve,because i know my dressing is not who i am or what i am, it is just an accessory,  and the language u used in condemning these women, makes u a weaker and lesser human than they are. i'm just saying......
