No amount of money will bring back the lost lives but compensating the bereaved families by the state government should be commended given the fact that police force is under the jurisdiction of the Federal government which may drag its feet for a while.

These service officers possibly the only bread winners are gone their dependants need immediate assistance. Usually governments in Nigeria are not that quick to pay salaries let alone benefits.
